Shelving racking

Company First Logistik designs and manufactures shelving racks. It is vertically standing frame, on which the beam of rectangular shape with hooks for attaching shelves are set. Scope and the permissible loads they are divided into two types: archival and cargo. The main bearing element of the universal shelf of any of these species is a shelf.

Elements of shelving racks:
- upright,

- beam,

- braces,

Uprights are made of special cold-rolled steel profile 2.0 mm thick with a step of 50 mm holes. In the front holes of the universal beams are fixed and are held by safety pins. Diagonal and horizontal braces are attached to the lateral plane of uprights by bolting. Rack uprights painted with powder powder polymer coating in any color with RAL.


Beams are horizontal elements of the racks are made of composite pipes (two C-shaped profile of 2.0 mm thick are inserted into each other). Beams can be of two types: standard rectangular (LP) or with the deepening for the dimensions of the shelves (SP). The maximum load for a couple of beams, depending on their type varies from 460 kg in the archive racks up to 2500 kg of cargo. Step of vertical permutation - 50mm. Beams of universal racks are painted in needed color according RAL.

Diagonal and horizontal braces of racks allow guaranteeing for stiffness and loading carrying capacity of frames. They are made of a closed metal profile 2 mm thick and are painted in a color according RAL.

Base foot are used to secure the rack to the floor and sustainability. In the case of irregularities in the surface under them shall leveling the metal plates that you can fix the structure in an upright position. Attaching the rack to the floor is made by means of anchor bolts. Thrust bearings are painted the same color as the struts.

Shelves for universal racks are made of two types: smooth and fire protection. They are made of galvanized steel with thickness 0.8-1.5 mm and a width of 187 and 226 mm. Based on these dimensions, it is possible to make any length shelf, depending on the length of the used beams. Maximum load per one item can be up to 200 kg that is caused by its complex geometric shape. Fire protection shelves have holes that contribute to the strait of water through the rack to extinguish source of fire.

The use of shelving

Universal racks used in warehouses for storage of general cargo - packed in containers of various types and unpackaged. Depending on the time withstand loads they are installed in the premises of archives, warehouses, cold rooms, etc. On the scope of this type of shelving is divided into two types:

  • Versatile cargo racks have more carrying capacity, height and volume of cargo storage. Most often they are made in fixed, when usage is in conjunction with lifting equipment storage, they can be fitted with metal bumpers to ensure the safety of loading and unloading operations and maintain the integrity of the rack.
  • Archive racks have a smaller maximum load per two beams, but for efficient storage of documents they are provided with additional devices. The walls of each section are performed in solid, on the outer walls tables for the pointers can be mounted, in some instances filing boxes with the possibility of locking are used. Archive shelves are often installed on a mobile base for more efficient use of space facilities.
